A Musical by Allan Jay Friedman

Based on a soon to be published book and screenplay

A career woman hates what feminism has done to her preferred way of life. And so, she goes on a quest to find a husband in today's world.

Kristie, an attractive single, professional woman, is tired of feminism. She wants to go back to the way it was before women began competing with men. And so, she goes to Paris in search of love and the man of her dreams.

What emerges is an old fashioned modern-day comedy that takes us on adventure in which every woman who desires to go back to the way it was, can identify.

Opening Lyric: "I Just Want To Be Married"

I've no worldly ambition

My mission  in life

In a word can be said....

I just want to be married, be married, be married

Before I am dead.

There's no drive deep within me

To win me

The laurels career women earn.

I just want to be married, married, be married

And filing a joint return.

I'm a whiz making nice hot tea

And I shine feeding Wheaties.

I'm a a wow at the A and P

And divine at Gristedes.

I've no wish to rub shoulders

With holders of titles

Or persons of note,

Let me just meet a Preacher, a Rabbi, a Priest

Or the Captain of somebody's boat.

Keep your furs and your flowers,

My generous friend,

Send maternity clothes.

I just want to be married, be married, be married.....

So someone propose.
